Fossil, one of the most famous watch brands in the world, introduced its new model, the fourth of the Android Wear smart watches. Fossil Q Venture HR and Q Explorist HR are available for purchase on August 26.
The main difference between the two watches is the size – the Explorist’s diameter is 45mm and the Venture’s diameter is 40mm. This means that the replaceable bands are different at 22 mm and 18 mm, respectively. However, the prices seem to be the same, at $ 255 for a leather strap and $ 275 for a stainless steel strap.
As the name suggests, both hours have a heart rate sensor. And both have a built-in GPS receiver (not available on Gen 3 models). The new watches are really sportier than their predecessors, and even more resistant to swimming.
Another new addition to the Q Explorist and Q Venture lines is NFC, which means that the new watches support Google Pay. These are new watches. Supporting 4 GB of internal storage and Bluetooth 4.1, these watches look pretty stylish and convenient.
